
Cities occupy 2% of the earth's surface, yet they consume 78% of the world's energy and produce more than 60% of CO2 emissions. Although these figures do not surprise us if we take into account that currently more than 50% of the world's population lives in urban environments and it is estimated that in 2050, this figure will rise to almost 70%, according to recent reports by UN Habitat.But... Can cities present sustainable living models?
